Year of China Film Series: The Warriors of Quigang

This film tells the story of farmer Zhang Gongli and his fight to shut down the chemical plant polluting his home. Zhang encounters threats from local thugs, rallies fellow villagers, and travels to Beijing to attend a meeting of China’s emerging environmental movement.
