As the 45th anniversary of Earth Day approaches, the newly formed Bluegrass Earth coalition is inviting the public to celebrate sustainability in Lexington throughout March and April.

Greenhouse is a new living-learning community that engages students in learning about many aspects of the local environment, all in the context of sustainability, by bringing together students and faculty interested in understanding and actively supporting the development of a healthy environment for all residents.
Greenhouse, the new Living Learning Program put together by a partnership between the College of Arts & Sciences and the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, is opening its doors next semester. As an incentive for students to join the new community, Greenhouse has organized a giveaway of several new bikes.
Currently accepting applications, the Greenhouse Living Learning Program offers sustainable dorm living for students passionate about environmental issues.
